Hungara Antologio estas esperantlingva 473-paĝa antologio de hungaraj poemoj kaj noveloj de 50 verkistoj. Eldonis ĝin Literatura Mondo en Budapeŝto en la jaro 1933. La libro enhavas 473 paĝojn kaj 24 kliŝopaĝojn kun la portretoj de 47 verkistoj.
En 1983 aperis samtitola volumo, redaktita de Vilmos Benczik. Tiu nova Hungara Antologio entenas nur parton de la volumo el 1933, sed ĝi prezentas multajn verkojn kiujn la volumo el 1933 ne enhavas. Komunaj aŭtoroj estas 28, la sumo de la aŭtoroj en la volumo el 1983 estas 73.
English Description:
In English-speaking countries, certainly, and very likely also in other countries of Western Europe, America and Asia, Hungarian literature is almost unknown. Even Madách's masterpiece, The Tragedy of Man, an important representative of its genre, receives no mention. With a single sentence one eventually bows to Petöfi, or alludes to the wonderful lyrics of Hungary", and passes by, because the works themselves remain inaccessible. Quite clearly this results from the language problem. All the more enthusiastically then, thirty years ago I discovered together with my Esperantist colleagues the Hungarian literature as it was masterfully translated into Esperanto by Kalocsay and various other Hungarian talents. We were completely delighted by the particular tone, intellectual, witty, sensitive, which the translations brought us, above all in the Hungarian anthology" (1933). We knew those translations to be reliable, because they were made in sets - which possessed the originals to a great extent - of a flexible and adaptable Ingvon, with which it was possible to reproduce at the same time the content, the form and the music of those originals.
We very soon found our favorite authors - in my case (besides Petőfi and Ady) Babits, Kosztolányi and Karinthy. Thanks to Esperanto, we have recognized in literature foreign settings that are stimulating and inspiring, which have become a permanent and inextricable part of our personal cultural development. This new "Hungarian anthology" extends (due to the passing of another half century) the range presented in the first one, and we devour it with the same enthusiasm: we renew our acquaintance with some, we happily greet the new ones. The volume contributes significantly to cultural exchanges between the nations.

En angle-parolantaj landoj certe, kaj tre verŝajne ankaŭ en aliaj landoj de okcidenta Eŭropo, Ameriko kaj Azio, la hungara literaturo estas preskaŭ nekonata. Ec la ĉefverko de Madách, La tragedio de l' homo, gravega reprezentanto de sia genro, ricevas neniun mencion. Per unusola frazo oni eventuale genufleksas al Petöfi, ao aludas al la mirindaj lirikoj de Hungarujo", kaj preterpasas, ĉar la verkoj mem restas nealireblaj. Tute klare tio rezultigas de la lingva problemo. Tiom pli entuziasme do, mi antaŭ tridek jaroj malkovris kune kun miaj esperantistaj kolegoj la hungaran literaturon kiel ĝin majstre tradukis en Esperanton Kalocsay kaj diversaj aliaj hungaraj talentuloj. Ni tute raviĝis pro la aparta tono, intelekteca, sprita, sentema, kiun alportis al ni la tradukoj, antaŭ ĉio en Hungara antologio" (1933). Tiujn tradukojn ni sciis fidindaj, ĉar ili estis faritaj en garoj - kiuj gismedole posedis la originalojn - de Ingvon flekseblan kaj adapteblan, per kiu eblis redoni samtempe la enhavon, la formon kaj la muzikon de tiuj originaloj.
Ni tre baldaŭ trovis niajn preferatajn aŭtorojn - miakaze (krom Petőfi kaj Ady) Babits, Kosztolányi kaj Karinthy. Dank' al Esperanto ni rekonis en literaturo fremda agordojn stimulajn kaj inspirajn, kiuj fariĝis daŭra neelsarkebla ero en nia persona kultura evoluo. Tiu ĉi nova,,Hungara antologio" pluetendas (pro la pasado de ankoraŭ duonjarcento) la gamon prezentitan en la unua, kaj same entuziasme ni voras gin: renovigas nian konatecon kun iuj, goje salutas la novajn. La volumo grave kontribuas al kulturaj interŝanĝoj inter la nacioj.
