Mam (Central)

Mam is a Mayan language, spoken in the Mexican state of Chiapas and Guatemala. It has almost 480,000 speakers. There are three major divisions of Mam, roughly based on the geographical area where they are spoken: Northern Mam in Huehuetenango, Southern Mam in Quetzaltenango and Central Mam in San Marcos.
