Welcome to our Scriptures category page, where we celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures reflected in the Bible. We recognize the importance of having access to the Scriptures in your native language, and we're committed to making that possible for people all around the world.
In Indigenous Australia, prior to the arrival of Europeans, there were almost 400 languages spoken. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these languages are now either extinct or moribund, meaning that only a few people still speak them fluently. Today, only about fifteen Indigenous Australian languages are still spoken by all age groups.
However, despite the challenges faced by Indigenous Australian languages, we're proud to offer a selection of Bibles and Scripture materials in several of the most widely spoken Indigenous Australian languages. Our focus is to provide access to the Bible in the language that people feel most comfortable with, so that they can better connect with the Word of God.
We offer Scriptures in Arrernte, Kala Lagaw Ya, Fufu, Walmajarri, Warlpiri, and the Western Desert language, among others. Our mission is to ensure that no matter your language, culture, or background, you can connect with the Word of God in a language that resonates with you.
We believe that access to the Scriptures is essential for personal growth, spiritual development, and deepening one's relationship with God. No matter the challenges posed by language barriers, we want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of Scripture.
