Hencsey Lajos élete - bár nem volt iskolázott ember -, csodálatos bizonysága annak, amikor a Biblia - Isten szava - elemi erővé válik egy halandó életében. A Mindenható Isten hatalma nyilvánul meg mindazok életében, akik a Szentírás szavait szívükbe fogadják. Így volt ez Hencsey Lajosnál is, aki rövid földi életének utolsó percéig teljes szívével szerette Megváltóját, hirdette Isten Igéjét, s így van ez ma is az Úr Jézus visszajöveteléig.
English Summary:
The reader reads the story of Lajos Hencsey's short earthly life, the first modern Hungarian evangelical movement and the formation of the Nazarene churches calling for Christ. His documents were collected and published by Károly Eötvös (1842-1916), a brave journalist, when many of the eyewitnesses still lived.
The book first appeared in sequels in the columns of Pesti Napló, and thus the Hungarian intelligence first became aware of the unknown biblical evangelical believers. In book form, the collection of articles was published in five editions. After a hundred years, it appears again in the sixth edition.
The life of Lajos Hencsey - though not a educated man - is a wonderful testimony about when the Bible - God's Word - becomes an elemental force in the life of a mortal being. The power of God Almighty is manifested in the lives of those who receive the words of Scripture in their hearts. This was the case with Lajos Hencsey, who loved his Redeemer with his full heart until the last minute of his short life on earth, proclaiming the Word of God, that is still true until the coming of the Lord Jesus.
