The Author

Dr. Roger Liebi (M.Mus., B.Th., M.Th.,Th.D.), born in 1958, married, six children, studied music (violin and piano), languages of the Biblical world (Greek, Classical and Modern Hebrew, Aramaic, Akkadian) and theology. He holds a doctorate degree in the field of Jewish Studies and Archaeology of |
the NT. From 2004 to 2011 he was lecturer in the field of Biblica} archaeology in Basel (Switzerland). He is active as a speaker and Bible teacher in various countries. A series of publications have issued from his years of engaging with the Holy Scriptures and with related areas (cf. the literature listed). The spectrum of subjects includes amongst other things: exegesis, analysis of culture, the origins of languages, prophecy, Israel, archaeology and apologetics for the Christian faith. He has participated in three projects as a Bible translator.
