Magyar áttekintés: Birtokolja a zenetörténelem egy darabját: a The Beatles mérföldkőnek számító, 1967-es eredeti brit első nyomású kislemezét, a "Strawberry Fields Forever" / "Penny Lane"-t.

Interesting Facts
- Only 250,000 copies of this single were originally issued in the picture sleeve, making well-preserved examples quite rare.
- Both songs were originally intended for the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album but were released as a single to satisfy the demand for new material. Producer George Martin later called this decision a "dreadful mistake".
- The cover photo was taken at Knole Park in Sevenoaks during the filming of the promotional clips for these songs on January 30 and 31, 1967.
- Despite being widely considered one of the greatest singles of all time, it was kept from the UK #1 spot by Engelbert Humperdinck’s "Release Me".
Érdekességek:
- Ebből a kislemezből eredetileg mindössze 250 000 példány jelent meg képes borítóval, így a jó állapotú darabok mára ritkaságnak számítanak.
- Eredetileg mindkét dalt a Sgt.
- A borítófotó a Sevenoaks-i Knole Parkban készült 1967. január 30-án és 31-én, a dalokhoz készült promóciós filmek forgatása idején.
- Annak ellenére, hogy minden idők egyik legjobb kislemezének tartják, a brit slágerlisták éléről Engelbert Humperdinck "Release Me" című dala szorította le a második helyre.
