Overview

Mr. Bean's Holiday is a delightful 2007 comedy film based on the beloved British television series Mr. Bean. Directed by Steve Bendelack, this film serves as a standalone sequel to the 1997 film Bean. In this adventure, Mr. Bean (played by Rowan Atkinson) wins a raffle that grants him a train holiday to Cannes, a video camera, and €200. Before he can catch his train, chaos ensues as he samples French seafood cuisine in a Paris restaurant.

At the Gare de Lyon, Bean encounters Emil Duchevsky (Karel Roden), a Russian director, and asks him to film his boarding the train with his new video camera. Bean's persistent requests for retakes result in a mix-up, leaving him and Duchevsky's son, Stepan (Max Baldry), on the train while Duchevsky is left behind.

The adventure continues as Bean and Stepan get off at the next station, only to find themselves in a series of misadventures when they realize Duchevsky's train does not stop at the station. In the ensuing chaos, Bean forgets his wallet, passport, and ticket in a telephone booth, leading to their ejection from the next train.
