Overview

"La Femme Musketeer" (Muskétásnő) is an epic historical adventure set in 1660s France during a time of war. The young king seeks peace with Spain, even willing to arrange a marriage with Maria Theresa. Meanwhile, the scheming Cardinal Mazarin (Gerard Depardieu) does everything in his power to prolong the conflict. When the legendary musketeer D'Artagnan (Michael York) sends reinforcements to aid the struggling Commander Fino, Mazarin orders Captain Villeroi to thin out the aging musketeer's ranks. However, no one anticipates the arrival of Valentine D'Artagnan (Susie Amy), D'Artagnan's beautiful daughter, who has been trained as a musketeer and wields a sword with masterful skill. Her unexpected appearance changes the course of events as she joins the fight to protect France's future.
