Band Profile

Formed in Nottingham, UK, in 1988, Fudge Tunnel consisted of Alex Newport (guitar/vocals), Adrian Parkin (drums), and David Ryley (bass). The band is celebrated for their heavy guitar-driven sound and distinctive blend of alternative rock, hardcore, and heavy metal. They initially released two EPs on Pigboy (Vinyl Solution) before signing to Earache Records. Their debut album, Hate Songs in E Minor, gained notoriety when the original artwork was seized by the Nottingham Vice Squad, further amplifying their underground status. After releasing their third album The Complicated Futility Of Ignorance, the band disbanded, leaving a lasting legacy in the heavy rock underground scene.
