With a prize of $100,000 at stake, winning the tournament becomes their only hope: Brice needs the money to sustain his extravagant lifestyle, while his friend requires it for a foot operation due to having just one enormous toe.

En attendant, Brice mène une vie luxueuse grâce à la fortune de son père, organisant des fêtes extravagantes et lançant des répliques humoristiques, tout en idolâtrant le film Point Break.

Mais sa vie bascule quand son père est arrêté pour blanchiment d’argent. Brice, désormais sans ressources et incapable de conserver un emploi, se lance dans des tentatives désespérées, dont un braquage de banque raté qui l’envoie à l’hôpital.
