English Summary:

The Bible is written in language that is rich in pictures. Knowing the meaning of the images used is not only an interesting study, but is also indispensable for a proper understanding of many places, especially prophecies. Symbols, parables, and prints in the form of persons, objects, places, events, and acts are explained in the Word of God itself. Most importantly, however: The Old and New Testaments testify of the Savior Jesus Christ, who said, "Ask the Scriptures, because you think that there is your eternal life in it; and they bear witness of me ”(Jn 5:39). With this in mind, the Bible reading man will correctly recognize and understand the profound meaning of known images such as, for example the passover, the high priest, the chestnut, the copper snake, etc. About 250 biblical images and symbols are placed in this lexicon in alphabetical order, and they are explained by more than 2000 verbs. Various illustrations, a lot of cross-references and list at the end of the book provide additional help for the study of God's Word.
