Sylvia Sass (born 12 July 1951) is a Hungarian operatic soprano who has sung leading roles both in her native country and internationally.

Hungarian operatic singer (soprano), studied music at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary, from 1970 to 1972. She debuted in the Hungarian State Opera House in 1971 as Frasquita in Bizet's Carmen. While she acquired successes in operas composed by Puccini, Verdi and Bellini, she performed in contemporary Hungarian works as well.
She is famous abroad, too, performed in the great opera houses of the world, including the Milano Scala, the Wiener Staatsoper, the New York Metropolitan. Among her partners you can find Georg Solti, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and many other operatic stars.
She released about 30 records by Hungarian and international labels, including entire operas and solo albums.
