Overview
Süsü is a dragon with a single head. In a world where dragons are supposed to have many heads, Süsü's one head — and with it, his warm heart, his tendency to take things literally, and his boundless desire to do good — makes him an outsider. He befriends Mirkó királyfi (Prince Mirkó), and together they encounter riddles, magic, and the peculiar logic of fairy-tale kingdoms. The series, based on Tömöry Márta's scripts and produced by Magyar Televízió, is one of the most beloved pieces of Hungarian children's television ever made.
This second DVD volume collects additional episodes from the series. The animation style is deliberately simple and warmly drawn, the dialogue is precise and literary without being inaccessible to children, and the humour works equally well for adults revisiting it. Süsü is not just a nostalgia product — it holds up as a piece of genuinely crafted storytelling.
