Postage stamp issued by Hungary in 1977. It commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stamp Day, an annual event that celebrates the history and culture of philately in Hungary. The stamp features the artwork of Zombory Éva, a Hungarian painter and graphic artist who specialized in folk art and crafts. The text lists the names of four ancient objects that are depicted on the stamp:

• Szkiták csörgő: a Scythian rattle, a bronze artifact from the 6th century BC that was used as a musical instrument or a ritual object by the nomadic Scythians who inhabited the Eurasian steppes.
• Gyertyatartó: a candle holder, a ceramic artifact from the 12th-13th century AD that was found in the medieval town of Esztergom, the former capital of Hungary.
• Aquamal Nile: a Nile water clock, a stone artifact from the 13th century BC that was used to measure time by the flow of water from a vessel with a hole at the bottom. It was brought to Hungary by King Matthias Corvinus in the 15th century as a gift from the Sultan of Egypt.
• Aranikor pusz: a gold bowl, a metal artifact from the 11th century AD that was part of the treasure of King Samuel Aba, the third king of Hungary. It has intricate decorations and inscriptions in Arabic and Hebrew.

The stamp is part of a series of four stamps that showcase different aspects of Hungarian art and culture. The other stamps feature paintings by Csontváry Kosztka Tivadar, Munkácsy Mihály, and Rippl-Rónai József.
