EN: Ludus Danielis (“Play of Daniel”) is one of the earliest surviving examples of medieval sacred drama. This 1983 Hungaroton LP brings the story of Daniel in the lion’s den to life with authentic modal melodies and period percussion, captured in the resonant acoustics of Ócsa’s 12th-century church. Conductor Janka Szendrei leads Schola Hungarica through antiphonal chants, solo dialogues, and choral refrains, offering a vivid portrait of early liturgical theatre.

Ezen a 1983-as Hungaroton bakeliten a Dániel-história autentikus dallamvilága és korabeli ütőhangszerek szólamai az ócsai XII. századi templom visszhangzó terében kelnek életre.
