A temesvári forradalom kitörésére emlékezik december 15-én a Duna – A rettegett Securitate emberei minden elképzelhető és elképzelhetetlen módon igyekeztek megfélemlíteni a szókimondó temesvári református lelkészt és híveit, de nem győzhettek.
Huszonöt év, egy negyedszázad történelmi léptékkel is jelentős idő. Emberöltő, számtalan fontos vagy fontosnak hitt nap láncolata. Ennyi idő alatt biztosan vannak olyan napok, melyek tömegek számára emlékezetesek és egész népekre nézve vitathatatlan jelentőségűek. Ilyen sorsfordító nap volt 1989. december 15-e, a romániai forradalom kezdete. Az időpontokhoz fontos helyek és események tartoznak, és persze emberek, hiszen a történelem róluk, rólunk szól.
Huszonöt évvel ezelőtt Tőkés László és a tettre kész temesváriak kiállásán keresztül az erdélyi magyarság és egész Románia történelme új fejezethez érkezett. A Ceausescu-rendszer bukásához vezető események akkor, ott és velük kezdődtek. Erre emlékezik a Duna Televízió a december 15-i tematikus estéjén. Újra látható lesz a Drakula árnyéka című 2010-es díjnyertes dokumentumfilm, amely kanadai filmesek segítségével, kalandos körülmények között készült, és a Securitate erőfeszítési ellenére a Romániából kicsempészett, majd bemutatott 1989-es Tőkés-interjú készítésének történetét meséli el. A filmben az akkori főszereplők elevenítik fel a berlini falnál is masszívabb akadály, a hallgatás falának áttörését.
A húsz évvel ezelőtti romániai forradalom kirobbanásában hatalmas szerepe volt Tőkés László református lelkésznek, Románia legismertebb ellenzéki személyiségének.Tőkés a hallgatás falát erősebbnek tartotta a Berlini Falnál. Kanadai újságírók segítségével sikerült eljutnia a nyilvánossághoz. A vele készített nagyhatású interjú készítésének körülményeit eleveníti fel a film.

Panoráma" interjú Tőkés Lászlóval (18 perc)
Az interjú titokban készült Tőkés Lászlóval 1989 márciusában, a temesvári református templomban. A felvétel miatt felfüggesztették az állásából és december 15-i határidővel el kellett hagynia a parókiát. Tőkés megtagadta az engedelmességet. Azon a reggelen gyülekezni kezdett a tömeg a parókia előtt, és rövidesen tízezer fő tüntetett a lelkész mellett. Ekkor eldördültek az első lövések...
A Securitate (21 perc)
Szőczi Árpád rendező volt az egyetlen észak-amerikai újságíró, aki engedélyt kapott a volt román titkosrendőrség archívumában való kutatásra. Szőczi öt alkalommal utazott Bukarestbe a dossziékat tanulmányozni. A kisfilmben a néző elé tárja, hogy milyen további részletekre bukkant a Securitate és a Külföldi Hírszerző Szolgálat működésével kapcsolatban.

Dracula's Shadow - The real story Behind the Romanian revolution (89 min) is the chilling Cold War account about what actually started the bloody revolution in Romania on December 15, 1989, when church supporters of the dissident Protestant Minister László Tőkés in Timisoara rallied around his church to protect him from the military and Romanian Secret Police, the Securitate. It began with a secret mission that started out in Montreal, Canada, in March of 1989. Two French-Canadians, former Quebec Cabinet Minister Michel Clair and Radio-Canada reporter Réjean Roy were sent to Timisoara to secretly record a TV interview with Tőkés, a leading member of Romania’s large Hungarian minority.

The Romanian Revolution (Romanian: Revoluția Română) was a period of violent civil unrest in Romania during December 1989 as a part of the Revolutions of 1989 that occurred in several countries. The Romanian Revolution started in the city of Timișoara and soon spread throughout the country, ultimately culminating in the show trial and execution of longtime Communist Party General Secretary Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife Elena, and the end of 42 years of Communist rule in Romania. It was also the last removal of a Marxist-Leninist government in a Warsaw Pact country during the events of 1989, and the only one that violently overthrew a country's government and executed its leader.
Early protests occurred in the city of Timișoara in mid-December on the part of the Hungarian minority in response to an attempt by the government to evict Hungarian Reformed church pastor László Tőkés. In response, Romanians sought revolution and a change in government in light of similar recent events in neighbouring nations. The country's ubiquitous secret police force, the Securitate, which was both one of the largest in the Eastern Bloc and for decades had been the main suppressor of popular dissent, frequently and violently quashing political disagreement, ultimately proved incapable of stopping the looming, and then highly fatal and successful revolt.

The “Panorama” Interview with Laszlo Tokeés (18 min.)
This is the secret TV interview taped in March of 1989 with Protestant Minister Laszlo Tőkés in his church in Timisoara. Because of the interview Tokés got fired. He later also received the deadline of Dec. 15 to leave the premises. He refused to go. That morning a crowd gathered outside the church — where Tokés’ apartment also was. Eventually 10,000 people showed up. And that’s when the fighting started...
The Securitate (21 min.)
At the time of this production, producer Arpad Széczi was the only reporter from North America who got permission from Securitate Archives in Bucharest to research there. He has been there five times and reveals more information about what he found, and about how both the Securitate and its external arm, the D.I.E.. worked.
