English Summary:

Donald in Mathmagic Land is a 27-minute Donald Duck featurette released on June 26, 1959 which was directed by Hamilton Luske. Contributors included Disney artists John Hench and Art Riley, voice talent Paul Frees, and scientific expert Heinz Haber, who had worked on the Disney space shows. It was released on a bill with Darby O'Gill and the Little People. In 1959, it was nominated for an Academy Award (Best Documentary - Short Subjects). In 1961, two years after its release, it had the honor of being introduced by Ludwig Von Drake and shown on the first episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, where it was the first Disney short subject to be broadcast on color television. The film was made available to schools and became one of the most popular educational films ever made by Mr. Disney. As Walt Disney explained, "The cartoon is a good medium to stimulate interest. We have recently explained mathematics in a film and in that way excited public interest in this very important subject."

Ben and Me opens with two tour groups simultaneously visiting a statue of Benjamin Franklin. The human tour group discusses Franklin's life and achievements, while the leader of a mouse tour group reveals the contributions of a mouse, Amos, to Franklin's career.

Narrated by Amos, through his memoirs, the mouse recalls how he first met and befriended Benjamin Franklin, eventually aiding in his publishing, inventions, and political career. Amongst Amos' contributions were bifocals, inspiring Franklin to build the stove, and changing the format of Poor Richard's Almanac to an event-oriented newspaper, the Pennsylvania Gazette. After Ben's experiments with electricity unintentionally endanger Amos' life, Amos leaves Ben and moves back in with his family. Years later, Amos hears of Franklin again when he read from the newspaper that the inventor was sent to England as part of a colonial attempt to reason with the king over the unfair taxations imposed on the colonies. The mission is a failure, as Franklin says on his return, "The King was unreasonable.

Donald visits "The Museum of Modern Marvels", which showcases various futuristic electronic appliances and inventions. In the museum, Donald encounters and struggles with many strange and whimsical machines, all of which seem to be against him. A running gag throughout the picture has the Robot Butler appearing to take away Donald's hat, with the words "Your Hat, Sir." After encountering a robotic hitch-hiker, a wrapping machine and a fully-automated baby carriage, the short ends when Donald attempts to scam a robotic barber chair and winds up getting a haircut on his behind and a shoe-shined bill.

Hungarian Summary:

A klasszikus Disney-rövidfilmeket tartalmazó sorozat első két része  immár számos Disney-rajongó polcán ott díszeleg, és most itt az alkalom, hogy tovább gyarapítsuk az értékes gyűjteményt! A Disney Históriák harmadik lemezén három rajzfilmklasszikus kapott helyet.

Az első, díjnyertes történetben Donald Varázsmatek országba keveredik,  ahol síkidom alakúak a növények gyökerei és számok csobognak a patakokban. Akárcsak Alíz Csodaországban, Donald is nehezen találja fel magát a különös
országban, de aztán rájön, hogyan boldogulhat.

A második történetben Mickey Egér a főszereplő.
