Kenyah

The Kenyah people are an indigenous, Austronesian-speaking people of Borneo, living in the remote regions in Sarawak, Malaysia and the remote regions of East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Almost all Kenyah people are Christian. Based on a recent census there is a total of 44,350 Kenyah people in East Kalimantan and 24,906 in Sarawak.

The Kenyah languages are a group of half a dozen or so closely related languages spoken by the Kenyah peoples of Borneo. They are Kenyah proper (a dialect cluster), Sebob (incl. Madang), Bakung, Tutoh, and Wahau Kenyah.
