  • The speach printed here was first published in parts in the Pravda newspaper on October 5, 6, and 7, 1920. Later, members of the Moscow printing house volunteered during a subbotnik (voluntary Saturday work shift) to print the first standalone brochure edition.
  • Vladimir Lenin himself edited the first proofs of that 1920 brochure, correcting errors by hand and advising publishers to print the names of the typesetters on the cover to honor their work.
  • Artist Leonid Kozlov spent three years working closely with the Central Komsomol Archives and the Institute of Marxism-Leninism to create the visual concepts for this album.
  • The book includes an audio insert—a flexi-disc record produced by the famous Soviet state record label "Melodiya"—allowing readers to hear the actual recorded voice of Lenin.
