Fedora is an opera in three acts by Umberto Giordano to an Italian libretto by Arturo Colautti, based on the 1882 play Fédora by Victorien Sardou. Along with Andrea Chénier and Siberia, it is one of the most notable works of Giordano.

It was first performed at the Teatro Lirico in Milan on 17 November 1898 conducted by the composer; Gemma Bellincioni created the role of Fedora with Enrico Caruso as her lover, Loris Ipanov.

The Teatro alla Scala mounted this production of Umberto Giordana's 1898 opera Fedora in 1993, under the stage direction of Lamberto Puggeli. The cast includes Mirella Freni as Princess Fedora Romazoff, Adelina Scarabelli as Countess Olga Sukarew and the eminent Plácido Domingo as Count Loris Ipanoff. Luisa Spinatelli designed the sets and costumes; The Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro alla Scalla provide musical accompaniment, with 4Gianandrea Gavazzeni conducting and Roberto Gabbiani serving as chorus master.
