Spanning almost 40 years of making hit records, "XS All Areas: The Greatest Hits" DVD covers the history of Status Quo from psychedelic beginnings through to rock legends. This DVD features promo and live performances of 23 of their 37 top 20 singles, fan favorites and an exclusive commentary from Rick and Francis.

"XS All Areas - The Greatest Hits" is a DVD collection of promo videos, live and TV performances by the English rock band Status Quo.

The English group Status Quo, created in 1962, managed to combine styles such as boogie-woogie, R&B and rock and roll in their music. The history of the team began with the beat group The Spectres, where Francis Rossi (guitar, vocals) and Alan Lancaster (bass) played, to which Rick Parfitt joined at the end of 1967. The mid-70s was the most successful period in Status Quo's career. Each of the albums of that time was present in the Top 5. The global circulation of all Status Quo records amounted to more than 118 million. The musicians performed 106 times on the TV program Top Of The Pops, which is a record. In terms of the number of hit albums, Status Quo is second only to the Rolling Stones. The group continues to perform and release albums today and, it seems, is not going to stop.
