Composed in 1931 by Dmitri Shostakovich. The Bolt, is being staged for the first time in more than 70 years. Choreographer Alexei Ratmansky conceived for the Bolshoi a ballet of the absurd set in a soviet
factory where robots tower over human beings and ending in a blood red delirious grand parade. Created in 1931, Le Boulon by Dmitri Shostakovich had never been remounted. The choreographer Alexei Ratmansky imagined for the Bolshoi, a delirious version which opens with a ballet of giant robots and ends in the total delirium of a large blood-red parade.
