Overview

Face Value is Phil Collins's solo debut, the 1981 album that opens with one of the most famous drum fills ever recorded — "In the Air Tonight." Written in the aftermath of his divorce, it's a raw, personal record that turned the Genesis drummer into a global solo star almost overnight.
