Overview
Nine Mickey Mouse cartoons, no filler. Mickey's Laugh Factory is a well-curated Disney compilation aimed squarely at younger children, collecting short episodes that showcase Mickey alongside Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, and the rest of the classic crew.
The set opens with "Clock Cleaners" (here titled Tik-tak Mickey), a slapstick favourite, and keeps the pace up through cooking chaos, flying mishaps, a new car, a piece of chewing gum with a life of its own, and the kind of cheerful disorder only Mickey's world can produce. The back cover lists nine episodes including Mickey főzni próbál, Szervdonorok, Mickey repülős szettje, Az utcaseprő, Mickey új autója, A rágógumi, Mickey óriási szerencséje, and Mickey-féle kavarodás — with the original episode titles visible in the Hungarian chapter menu.
The disc also includes an interactive game and a joke parade as extras, making it a solid package for family viewing. This Hungarian Disney DVD / InterCom edition runs about 56 minutes with multi-language audio and generous subtitle options.
Interesting Facts
- Mickey Mouse debuted on 18 November 1928 in Steamboat Willie, the first Disney cartoon with synchronised sound.
- The disc brings together episodes from different eras of Mickey Mouse short animation, pairing classic theatrical cartoons with later TV productions.
- The interactive game extra adds a play element that makes the disc more engaging for younger viewers beyond simple playback.
- "Szervdonorok" (Mickey's Mechanical House) is among the more imaginative premises in the set, featuring Mickey's encounter with an over-helpful smart home.
- The multi-language audio track (five languages including Bulgarian and Greek) points to the wide Central and South-Eastern European distribution footprint of InterCom's Disney releases.
