Review:
What you get here is an album of beats, covering modern dance music. Mainly down tempo, hip hop, r & b, funk and the odd house and drum and bass track.
The album has 22 tracks, each track running smoothly into the next (however, its not dj mixed). Every 2nd or 3rd track has a voice over, which tells a gambling story throughout the CD.
The album is mainly instrumental. however, a few tracks do feature vocalists, Memories featuring Cee Rock is a hip hop track with looking back at his childhood thoughts. 'Change Colours Again' and 'Man Meeting Girl' feature Sena. Sena being similar to the vocalist on Trickie’s first album. LTJ Bukems MC Conrad vocals on 'I Like To Tell Ya Things', a track that will take you back to the early nineties.
In between, there is the funk based track 'Menthol lights, with a similar beat to J Lo's 'Get Right' and R Kellys, 'Happy People'.
You also get on this album a grime track Solitudo 3 a drum and bass track 'Higher (Mi Amor) and a house track 'Voyeur Of Life'.
All in all if you like beats, and down tempo get this album, you will not be disappointed.
