Overview
Lolka és Bolka is the Hungarian dubbed name for the Polish animated series Reksio, featuring the adventures of a small white dog and his friends. Like so many Eastern European animated series of the 1960s–1980s, it operates on a principle of radical simplicity: short episodes, clear stakes, warm humour, and a total absence of anything threatening. The episodes are self-contained, gentle, and built for rewatching — which is exactly why they survived.
This Fumoto Kft. two-disc Hungarian edition collects episodes across both volumes, preserving the Hungarian dubbed versions that generations of Hungarian children grew up with. The packaging is clean and the episodes are in watchable condition. A good find for families with young children or for anyone who wants to revisit a piece of Hungarian (and Polish) broadcast history.

Interesting Facts
- Reksio was created by Lechosław Marszałek and first broadcast on Polish television in 1967; it ran until 1990, producing 65 episodes.
- The series was translated and dubbed into many languages across Eastern and Central Europe; the Hungarian "Lolka és Bolka" version was broadcast on Magyar Televízió.
- The title characters were renamed in Hungarian — in the Polish original the dog is called Reksio, a common Polish dog name equivalent to "Rex."
- The animation studio was Studio Filmów Rysunkowych (SFR) in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, which also produced several other exported animated series.
- The Fumoto Kft. edition packaged the episodes into two separate DVD volumes, sold as a set.
