Overview
This authentic Soviet era tabletop plaque features a detailed profile portrait of Vladimir Lenin. The design is based on the iconic model created by renowned Soviet medalist and sculptor N. Sokolov. Produced at the prestigious Leningrad Mint, the metal bas-relief medallion is set within a gilded circular rim on a rectangular wooden panel with a marbled wood-grain finish. The reverse side features a heavy-duty metal wire support easel and basic hardware nuts holding the centerpiece securely in place. It shows nice aged patina with minor scuffing on the wood corners which is typical for real vintage political memorabilia from this period.
