English Summary:

Director Enzo G. Castellari initially approached Vasile with a script written by Vasile's son. The boxing film project was shelved and Vasile offered Castellari to direct Day of the Cobra. Day of the Cobra was written by Aldo Lado who was initially going to direct the film. Lado's story was initially set right after World War II in Trieste. Castellari's film is set in the present day and he imagined the film a "homage to Chandler.

Castellari cast many actors who he had previously worked with, including Franco Nero and Massimo Vanni. He also cast some of his family members such as his brother Enio Girolami and daughter Stefania

Alien Terminator (Italian: Top Line) is a 1988 Italian film directed by Nello Rossati. It is an action film with a climax that includes UFOs and aliens. It was released on video as Top Line.

Author Ted Angelo discovers a UFO in the Columbian jungle. When he tries to spread the word, he earns more than the usual disbelief: suddenly he's hunted by almost every organization, like CIA, KGB, the mob, Nazis... and even extraterrestrials - Those ETs obviously do not want to go home.

Larry Stanziani, detto il cobra, radiato dalla polizia e condannato a tre anni di carcere per una ingiusta accusa di connivenza con la mafia, ora vive a San Francisco come investigatore privato. Convocato dal suo ex superiore, accetta di recarsi a Genova per indagare su Serge Kandinsky, suo avversario di sempre, e per riavvicinare suo figlio Tim, lasciato in un collegio dopo la morte della moglie.

Ted Angelo è uno scrittore semialcolizzato mandato in Sud America per realizzare una serie di libri sui popoli precolombiani da un editore newyorkese. A causa del suo scarso rendimento viene licenziato (la sua datrice di lavoro è l'ex-moglie), ma proprio quando sta per decidere se tornare in Italia (suo paese natale) o rimanere in Colombia, incappa in alcuni antichi reperti, provenienti da una nave dei conquistadores. Tra i reperti vi è il prezioso diario di un navigatore, che il fidanzato della cameriera dell'albergo in cui alloggiava (si rivelerà essere un trafficante di marijuana che si finge pescatore) cerca di vendergli.

Subito inizia una scia di morti e violenza che sembra colpire chi è a conoscenza dell'esistenza dei reperti, avvenimenti che portano Ted a decide di cercare la nave. Arrivato in una grotta scopre che la nave si era incagliata secoli prima contro un UFO.

Larry Stanzianni három év után szabadul a San Franciscó-i fegyházból, és előlről akarja kezdeni az életét, mint magándetektív. A múlt árnyékából feltűnik Larry irodájában Jack Goldsmith, az FBI főnöke. A cégnek a legjobb emberre van szüksége, hogy elkaphassa a kábítószermaffia fejét, Leo Kandinskyt. Mivel a magánnyomozás nem túlságosan jövedelmező, így Larry elvállalja az ügyet. Ám Kobra - ahogy a barátai hívták - ekkor még nem sejti, milyen piszkos ügybe keveredett bele.

Ted egy nagymenő lapnál dolgozik, mint újságíró. Nehezen találni jó sztorikat, de neki sikerül. Tudmást szerez róla, hogy Közép-Amerikában egy több száz éves űrhajót találtak, ami biztosan nem földi eredetű. Az igazság keresése közben azonban üldözőbe veszik és az ellenfél nagy erőről tesz tanúbizonyságot. Mihelyst felgöngyölíti az igazságot, rájön, hogy az nem is állt tőle olyan távol.
