Hieromonk Averky (in the world Belov Alexander Vyacheslavovich) was born on October 18, 1972 in the city of Alma-Ata.
At the end of the 4th year, he left the Faculty of Journalism of Kazakh State University for the Nikitsky Monastery of the Yaroslavl Diocese, then entered the Almaty Theological School.

On April 7, 1995, he took priestly orders and took monastic vows. After a serious car accident, he was healed in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
In 2010 he graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy.
From 2012 to the present - rector of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Virgin Mary
in the village of Koktal, Zharkent district, Almaty region.

The author has published five collections of poems and stories.

Иеромонах Аверкий (в миру Белов Александр Вячеславович) родился 18 октября 1972 г. в городе Алма-Ата.
В конце 4-го курса ушел с факультета журналистики КазГУ в Никитский монастырь Ярославской епархии,затем поступил в Алматинское духовное училище.

7 апреля 1995 г. принял священнический сан и монашеский постриг. После тяжелой автокатастрофы исцелялся в Троице-Сергиевой Лавре.
В 2010 г. окончил Московскую Духовную Академию.
С 2012 г. по настоящее время - настоятель храма Казанской иконы Богородицы
в поселке Коктал Жаркентского района Алматинской области.

Автор выпустил пять сборников стихов и рассказов.
