Overview

Ford Fairlane is the rock 'n' roll detective. He charges his fees in CDs, operates out of a mansion full of groupies, and takes cases he probably shouldn't — which is how he ends up tangled in a murder that connects half of Los Angeles' music industry. Andrew Dice Clay plays the whole thing at maximum volume: brash, self-satisfied, perpetually surprised that anyone could resist his charm. The film is deliberately over the top, leaning into the absurdity of the rock era with gleeful excess.

Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) directs with the precise calibration of someone who knows exactly how dumb-fun this is and respects it. Robert Englund has a great cameo, Priscilla Presley brings committed deadpan, and the whole film moves fast enough that you're laughing before you've decided whether you should be. This "Szinkronizált változat" Hungarian DVD carries the full film with Hungarian and English audio.
