A Honvéd Férfikar

A világszerte egyedülálló Honvéd Férfikar Közép-Európa egyetlen hivatásos férfikórusa, és 45 fős létszámával a világ egyik legnagyobb létszámú férfikara is egyben. A világon igen kevés, ekkora létszámmal rendelkező hivatásos férfikart találunk. Európában hazánkon kívül Észtországban és Oroszországban van ilyen.

A Férfikar repertoárja felöleli a teljes zeneirodalmat, a gregorián énekektől az önálló kórusműveken, oratóriumokon, operákon keresztül a dzsessz- és rock-koncerteken történő közreműködésig ‑ a legmagasabb színvonalon.

A kórus mottója: Hang, Szív, Erő…

Az énekkar hangzásában összegződik az orosz kórusok drámai ereje, és hangterjedelme, a nyugat-európai énekkarok finom részletérzékenysége azzal a kifejezőerővel, amely a közép-európai hagyomány legmélyebb sajátossága.
