Two American Jewish expatriates, Kitty and Julius Schneider , the filmmakers grandparents, met in 1920s Hungary. The filmmaker finds a box of their 16mm black and white original film footage, and intrigued by these mysterious images, goes on her own quest to discover her family's secret story.
