English Summary:

Bitna Suh is one of the promising young Korean violinists of our time. Born into a musical family, she studied at Yewon and Seoul Arts High School. After graduating from Seoul National University College of Music, Suh went to the USA and earned her Master's degree and Certificate of Performance at the University of Southern California Graduate School of Music, studying under renowned violin virtuoso Alice Schoenfeld and Suli Xue. She gave solo and chamber recitals in Germany, Bulgaria, USA and Korea. In Bulgaria. she performed with famous pianist Marina Kapitanova, a professor at the State Music Academy in Sofia. Suh appeared as a soloist with the Rumania Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra, Pleven State Philharmonic Orchestra, Vratza State Philharmonic Orchestra and Shumen State Philharmonic Orchestra. Especially, she made her successful debut with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria, with her charming tone and mature sensibility of musical interpretation. Suh received appraising reviews among major music critics for her "serene and innermost musicality" and the way she "gives the audience a persuasive impression". Suh currently teaches at several universities in Seoul and is a member of Trio Farbe.
