Released by BGO Records in 2000, this remastered set features the 1975 album Notice To Appear and the 1976 follow-up A Banquet In Blues. The front cover insert of this spesific copy features a rare, authentic hand-signed autograph by John Mayall himself.
During the mid-70s, Mayall shook up his traditional sound by collaborating with legendary New Orleans producer Allen Toussaint at the famous Sea-Saint studios. This record show a unique fusion of Mayall's signature blues harmonica and Toussaint's distinct Crescent City funk and soul rhythms. The text on the back cover reads: "Disc One all tracks written by Toussaint except tracks 7 & 10 written by Mayall; and track 9 written by Lennon/McCartney. Disc Two all tracks written by Mayall."
