English Description:

JOHN CANFIELD, professional musician and music educator, takes you on a crazy tour of the world of music. Through a variety of writing techniques and through various adventures, he lets you laugh at the "mad" people he discovers. Occasionally he may even have you laughing at yourself. Although this book has universal appeal to all music lovers, it was written primarily for those who are knowledgeable in music. Hopefully, the more thorough the musical training, experience, or exposure of the reader, the more hilarious the book will appear.

About the Author:
John Canfield was born in 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio. He studied violin as a youth from Charles Rhyclik. Presently he is teaching at Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, is on the Brevard Music Center Staff in North Carolina, and spends much of his spare time on creative projects. He is the founder and former conductor of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony, the author of Henry Hadley: His Life and Works, and the composer of various string and orchestra] compositions and String method books. His wife and four grown children are all musical.
