Overview
Three complete a-ha studio albums in one slim, budget-friendly box — the run that took the Norwegian trio from their world-conquering debut to the moodier, harder-edged record that closed their first chapter. If you only know "Take On Me," this is the set that fills in the rest.
Hunting High and Low (1985) is the one with the hits — "Take On Me," "The Sun Always Shines on T.V.," the soaring title track — and it still sounds like the high-water mark of mid-'80s synth-pop craftsmanship. Scoundrel Days (1986) goes darker and more ambitious, trading some of the gloss for atmosphere on "Manhattan Skyline" and "Cry Wolf." Memorial Beach (1993) is the outlier and the deep-cut favorite: a brooding, blues-tinged album produced by David Z that rewards listeners who go past the singles.
The Triple Album Collection format keeps it simple — three originals, no remastering arguments, no bonus filler — in a compact set that's ideal for completing the catalog or starting it. It arrives brand new and still sealed in its factory shrink-wrap.
