Frank Tibor Amerika világai – Angolamerikai történelmi tanulmányok II. kötet című munkája a magyar amerikanisztika egyik legfontosabb összegző műve, amely a szerző több évtizedes kutatásainak eredményeit foglalja egységbe. A kötet a 19. század közepétől napjainkig követi nyomon az Egyesült Államok társadalmi, politikai és kulturális átalakulásait.
A szerző bemutatja, miként alakult át az egykori WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) alapokon nyugvó, viszonylag homogén amerikai társadalom soknyelvű és sokkultúrájú közösséggé, amelyet a 19–20. századi bevándorlási hullámok formáltak. A kötet központi témái között szerepelnek:
