Overview
"As Time Goes By: Series 8" continues the heartwarming story of Jean, a student nurse, and Lionel, a young army officer, who first met and fell in love in the early 1950s. Nearly four decades later, their lives intersect once again. Older and wiser but still as charmingly capricious, they discover that while love evolves with time and new priorities, the passion of past flames can still be rekindled. The series explores Lionel’s suspicions about being followed, Jean’s unexpected fondness for his admirer, a humorous bathroom incident that shakes the household, and Lionel’s concerns about his financial future.
