Overview

When two college students, Bill and Stan, are driving through Alabama, they are mistakenly arrested and charged with a murder they didn't commit. Facing the electric chair and unable to prove their innocence, they reach out to Bill’s cousin, Vinny Gambini (Joe Pesci). Vinny is a personal injury lawyer from Brooklyn who has just passed the bar on his sixth attempt and has zero courtroom experience. Accompanied by his sharp-tongued, car-expert fiancée, Mona Lisa Vito (Marisa Tomei), Vinny must navigate the strict traditionalism of the Southern legal system to save his cousin's life.
