Overview

Welcome to the world of confidence men, where deception is an art form and nothing is quite as it seems. "The Brothers Bloom" (Szélhámos fivérek) follows Stephen (Mark Ruffalo) and Bloom (Adrien Brody), brothers who have been partners in elaborate cons since their childhood in foster care. While Stephen is the mastermind who "writes" their adventures like a Russian novel, Bloom is weary of living a scripted life and yearns for something authentic. Stephen convinces him to do "one last job": swindling Penelope Stamp (Rachel Weisz), a beautiful and eccentrically wealthy heiress living in a secluded New Jersey mansion. The journey takes them across the globe—from Montenegro and Prague to Mexico and St. Petersburg—as Penelope joins them on a whirlwind adventure that blurs the lines between the con and reality.
