About the Author
Glenn Flinkenberg is a lifelong Aucklander and self-professed petrol head who has been passionate about Holdens since his teenage years. Despite beginning his career as a mechanic apprenticing ironically at a Ford dealer in the 1970s, he transitioned into real estate in 2004. Glenn was president of the Early Holden Club of Auckland for over 20 years and also served as fleet manager for Holden New Zealand for five years. An accomplished Toastmaster, his other interests include ocean swimming and motorsport, having competed in various racing and rallying events driving cars like the Torana XU-1, Datsun 1600, and Escort 1500.
