Overview / Áttekintés

English: The Treatment follows Jake (Chris Eigeman), who struggles to get over a recent breakup and seeks help from Dr. Morales (Ian Holm) in Buenos Aires. However, instead of comfort, Morales’ unconventional advice only complicates Jake’s life. When Jake meets Allegra (Famke Janssen), a beautiful widow with two children, mutual attraction sparks joy in his life. Yet, Morales suspects Allegra might be using Jake, urging him to keep his distance — easier said than done. This witty and clever film explores themes of love, life, and sex with humor and heart.

Hungarian: A Szeretni jobb Jake-ről (Chris Eigeman) szól, aki sehogy sem tud túljutni egy nemrégiben történt szakításon, ezért segítséget kér a buenos airesi Dr. Moralestől (Ian Holm). A doktor szokatlan tanácsai azonban nem hoznak megnyugvást, hanem csak még bonyolultabbá teszik Jake életét. Amikor megismerkedik Allegra-val (Famke Janssen), a kétgyermekes gyönyörű özveggyel, kölcsönös vonzalom ébred közöttük, és Jake életében újra megjelenik az öröm.
