The film itself was a rare "beat movie" in the socialist era, capturing a love triangle story inspired by Romeo and Juliet, set against the backdrop of several live beat music stages.

For decades, these songs were only available on scattered 7-inch singles or remained unreleased in film archives. This 2019 release by Moiras Records marks the first time the soundtrack has been compiled onto a full-length LP. Ez az album a magyar beatkorszak egyik legfontosabb dokumentuma, amelyen a korszak legnagyobbjai – az Illés, a Kex, a Metro, a Tolcsvayék és Zalatnay Sarolta – hallhatóak. A film egy modern Rómeó és Júlia történet, amely a beat-generáció életérzését örökítette meg több különböző színpadon zajló koncertfelvétellel.
