The backbone of the recording consists of the Rondo in B minor and the Fantasia in C major, both written for the virtuoso Czech violinist Josef Slavík. A unique highlight of this album is the inclusion of the song paraphrase "Sei mir gegrüsst" performed twice: once as an integral variation section within the Fantasia, and again as a standalone arrangement by Hans Sitt.
