Overview

From Wolfgang Petersen, the acclaimed director of The Perfect Storm and Troy, comes Poseidon, a high-octane reimagining of Paul Gallico’s classic adventure novel. On New Year’s Eve, the luxury ocean liner Poseidon is struck by a massive 150-foot rogue wave, capsizing the ship and leaving the survivors in a desperate struggle for life. While most passengers stay behind in the ballroom, a small, determined group—led by a professional gambler (Josh Lucas) and a former fireman (Kurt Russell)—embarks on a treacherous journey through the wreckage, fire, and rising water to reach the surface.
