Overview

"Money changes everything... or so they hope." In the gritty action-thriller Piszkos románc (released internationally as Love Lies Bleeding), Duke (Brian Geraghty), a struggling Iraq War veteran, and his girlfriend Amber (Jenna Dewan) dream of a better life far away from their impoverished neighborhood. Their luck seemingly changes when Duke stumbles upon a duffel bag filled with "dirty" money following a lethal drug deal shootout. After a quick wedding, the couple hits the road to start over, but their dream fast becomes a nightmare. Pollen (Christian Slater), a corrupt and relentless DEA agent, is hot on their trail to reclaim his loot. As the chase intensifies, Duke and Amber must outsmart a psychopath who will stop at nothing to get what is "rightfully" his.
