Overview

The Score (A szajré) brings together three generations of acting royalty: Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, and Marlon Brando. The story follows Nick Wells (De Niro), an expert safe-cracker ready to retire to his jazz club in Montreal and settle down with his girlfriend Diane (Angela Bassett). His plans are derailed when his long-time friend and "fence," Max (Brando), presents him with a job too lucrative to refuse: stealing a priceless French national treasure from the high-security Montreal Customs House. To pull it off, Nick must break his golden rule—"Always work alone"—and partner with Jack Teller (Norton), a clever but volatile young thief who has infiltrated the target location. As the heist unfolds, a tense game of cat-and-mouse begins, where no one can be fully trusted.
