English: Honfoglalás (Conquest) is one of the most ambitious projects in the history of Hungarian rock. Originally conceived in the late 70s by band leader Lóránt Schuster, this symphonic suite tells the epic story of the Hungarian settlement in the Carpathian Basin. While the rock version is a staple of their live shows, this 1995 studio recording features the Állami Hangversenyzenekar (Hungarian State Orchestra), conducted by Péter Wolf. It is a masterful blend of hard rock energy, folk-inspired melodies (including the Csángó folk song "Hazám, hazám"), and grand orchestral arrangements.

A szvitet eredetileg a 70-es évek végén álmodta meg Schuster Lóránt, az együttes vezetője, feldolgozva a magyarság Kárpát-medencei letelepedésének eposzi történetét. Bár a rock-változat a koncertek állandó darabja, ez az 1995-ös stúdiófelvétel az Állami Hangversenyzenekar közreműködésével készült, Wolf Péter vezényletével.
