Mozart and the Whale, released as Crazy in Love in some parts of Europe, is a 2005 romantic comedy-drama film directed by Petter Næss and starring Josh Hartnett and Radha Mitchell.

The film follows Donald Morton (Josh Hartnett), a taxi driver in Spokane, Washington, who juggles his job and his pet cockatiel. One day, while distracted, he accidentally bumps into a florist's van, causing damage to his taxi. Unfazed, Donald abandons his cab and passengers, taking his groceries to a self-help group for autistic adults.

Before heading to the park to meet another autistic group, he instructs a group member, Gracie (Rusty Schwimmer), to gather the women while he gathers the men to practice sharing personal stories. However, he keeps getting sidetracked by performing complex mathematical calculations.

At the park, Donald notices that Isabelle Sorenson (Radha Mitchell), a new member, has signed up and encourages her to share her story first. Isabelle recounts a childhood memory about trying to please her parents after they celebrated an Olympian's record, leading her to break their music records. In turn, Donald shares his struggles with making friends despite his talent for complex calculations. Isabelle's story takes a darker turn as she reveals her traumatic experience of being raped while hitchhiking, prompting a maniacal laugh from Gracie. This prompts Donald to intervene and calm Isabelle down, leading to a connection between the two as they discover they have much in common.
