Overview / Áttekintés

Set in the early 19th century, La Belle et la Bête (Beauty and the Beast) tells the timeless tale of a young man forced to leave his luxurious palace for a rural estate after losing his fortune. To save his family from ruin, he ventures into the woods, where a seemingly cruel Beast awaits. The story follows his daughter, who takes the blame for a theft and goes to live with the Beast. However, instead of torment and death, she discovers kindness and enchantment, visiting the Beast nightly dressed in beautiful gowns. As time passes and she learns more about the Beast, their bond grows stronger. Her dreams reveal the Beast’s true identity—a once handsome and kind prince under a dark curse. It is up to Beauty to overcome danger and break the spell to save the prince. A XIX. század elején játszódó A Szépség és a Szörnyeteg meséli el a történetet egy fiúról, aki a fényűző palotából vidéki birtokra kényszerül, miután apja vagyona elveszik.
